DR. CHRIS KOLSTE

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr Chris Kolste, a Washington State graduate, grew up in Montana.  Being raised on a farm he developed a love of the outdoors and a passion to care for animals. After graduating he moved to Logan UT to work in a mixed animal practice. This is where he met his sweetheart Janet and built his ties with both Dr Millers.

Dr “K”’s focus was on large animals earlier in his career. He loved to work on cows and horses.  He became proficient at both equine dentistry and bovine embryo transfer.  Dr Kolste left his large animal roots behind in 2017 and is now passionately caring for small animals. He loves doing orthopedic surgeries, sports medicine and rehabilitation.

Dr Kolste and his wife Janet are parents of 4 children and just recently became proud grandparents which is their greatest adventure to date!  They have quite a menagerie of pets including a donkey, a horse, chickens, 3 dogs and 2 cats! Oh my that’s a lot!  “Side by side rides are the best, especially in the fall.”  They also enjoy spending time at HAH associating with the wonderful clients and caring for their pets!

DR. BOB MILLER

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Later he added Sandy Animal Hospital and Cache Meadow Veterinary Clinic. Following a "soft" retirement 9 years ago he joined the Heritage team as a consulting veterinarian. His expertise and guidance are the reason Heritage is housed in such a beautiful building. While Dr. Bob practiced both large and small animal medicine in the early years of his career he now focuses on small animal preventative care and surgery. Outside of work he loves spending time with his wife Pat and his cat Toby.
